I thank God for the treasures that he has allowed me to find throughout my journey. It is amazing how growth is embodied and symbolized within ones being-but what is more fascinating is how we purport that change. During this season I have embraced this idea and will not let go of my future. During this season, I have found my joy and am humbled in its presence. It is a phenomenal feeling…and those who have felt it understand my excitement.
For the reader, s/he may be asking oneself what (or who) I am referring to...however my job is not to create a subject line-it is to create thought. In hindsight that is what the journey is...So what in your life has created your transition and transformation? For me, it was a speechless day in February. But that day is not all inclusive or exclusive to my elusive change. That day is simply the emergence of passion plus rhetoric…that day is a smooth R&B track on a beautiful day in (insert your city here) but as awkward as your first kiss…that day is as interesting as your favorite novel but as confusing as some Spike Lee Joints.
Oh well, change does come in many forms…pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters…I just wonder about the combination you have been dealt. For me, uh, I could reach in my pocket and show you-but I rather invest my change with the hope that it grows.
I thank God for the treasures that he has allowed me to find. And it is my hope that you are able to let your guard down and enjoy the joys that alter your rules and purport your change.
The man behind the pen
